Set your camera to manual
1. Set camera to Manual Mode ("M") or Aperture Priority Mode ("A"). 2. On DSLR cameras, go to Menu > Set Up Menu > Non CPU lens data > Enter lens focal length and max aperture. 3. When relevant, switch lens to manual too.

Set adapter to "Open"
Carefully ensure the textured ring of the adapter is in the ">|" position.

Connect to lens
Confidently align the red dot of your lens with that of the adapter and rotate clockwise until the lens locks in place. When relevant, turn the silver ring located at the base of the lens in a counter-clockwise direction, until it locks the adapter in place.

Connect to camera body
Deftly connect adapter to your beloved camera body and rotate counter-clockwise. Hold both the lens and adapter in your hand when rotating for better grip.

Adjust aperture
To adjust aperture, set the textured ring of the adapter towards the "o<" mark. Then, knowingly rotate the lens aperture ring.
